Night skin care routine for Healthy & Glowing skin


We all love a person with a beautiful, glowing and radiant skin. But, maintaining that radiance day after day can be a very difficult task. As, for most of the people their skin is less than perfect. This is because of your everyday routine. At daytime, the harsh UV rays, pollution, dust, chemicals do much damage than you can think.

Also, as the time goes on these damages start to affect your skin and appearance significantly. So, as a result your skin loses its natural glow. Another thing that plays a key role in the process is stress.  Stress which comes with your daily schedule and the lack of proper sleep adds up to the results. And the end, all these are various signs of aging like wrinkles, dull skin, dark spots, fine lines etc.

So, to prevent the following things from happening one should engage in a nighttime skincare routine which will help you in attaining the skin you always dream of.  Here are few tricks and tips to follow to get the refreshed and radiant skin every morning:-


  • First thing is to remove your makeup every night before going to bed : 

    Removing your make up should be your first priority after getting home. This is necessary because it will help in repairing the skin naturally. See, at the time you sleep your skin repairs itself, so if it is cover in make-up, the natural pours of skin will be clogged and process will be interrupted. This is because makeup clogs the pours, resulting dark spot, uneven skin tone and also in acne breakout.

  • Second step is cleansing and toning,

    After removing your makeup you should develop a regular habit of using cleansing and toning. First wash your face with lukewarm water, using the face wash that will suit your skin type. Then use cleanser on it, based on your skin type. If you have dry skin then use a hydrating skin cleanser, and for the people with oily skin use gel based or foaming cleansers.

    Next is toner, which is important because it helps in maintaining the ph level of your skin and soothes it. Also it helps in improving the texture of the skin. For dry skin make sure that you chose one which is alcohol free.


  • Exfoliate with gentle products:-

Most of the products we exfoliate our skin with have grainier texture so it cannot be done daily. We can try a more gentle technique like Glycolic acid. It helps in removing dead skin cells gently. And don’t have the harsh effect of the regular products.

  • Try a oil massage before going to sleep:-

Oils that are available in your home like mustard oil, coconut oil, olive oil etc can work wonders for the skin. Massage two to three drops daily to get a refreshed skin. However, if you have oily skin you can use a proper night cream in place of oil.

  • Get your beauty sleep:-

Sleep for 6-8 hours daily as it will help you in repairing your skin naturally. Also, it will help in reliving the stress from your body.

Apart from this maintain a healthy diet and drink 8-10 glasses of water daily and you can have the radiant skin in no time.
