Chickpeas can be used in many ways but making flour out of it and using it is the most simplest. To use chickpea in natural state, it is important to soak them overnight. But it becomes a lengthy process. Therefore, grind a small ratio of chickpeas into flour so it can be used with ease.
- Chickpea and turmeric face pack
Make a paste of chickpea flour and turmeric powder in milk. The paste should be free from clumps of flour; a nice thick paste is required. Apply it evenly on your face. Wash your face after 10-15 minutes. If this is done alternately for a month, the change will be vibrant and beautiful.
- Chickpea flour paste
Chickpea flour can be used alone as well. A thick smooth paste is required (preferably use milk or yogurt). Apply it evenly on face for 10-15 minutes. After using this recipe you will notice that your age line and spots have become light. And gradually they will dissolve.
- Chickpea and garlic paste
Garlic has antioxidant quality and is useful for skin. Mixture of garlic paste, chickpea flour and water is also beneficial for skin. This makes the skin smooth, fairer and bright. It rubs off dead skin cell and repairs the damage cell from within.
- Chickpea and green tea
Blend chickpea flour, 2-3 teaspoon of grounded green tea leaves and 1 cup of green tea. Apply it evenly over your face. This helps to detoxify your skin, and brings freshness.
- Chickpea and coffee paste
Coffee works as cellulite cutter for our body. Chickpea and coffee acts together to shed extra fat from our face as well as dissolve wrinkles. Regular usage will better than anti-aging creams.
- Chickpea and almond oil
Make a paste using chickpea flour, almond oil and few drops of lemon juice. This face pack will remove dirt from the skin pores and reveal the natural glow. Dirt in the skin pore results in acne problem.
- Chickpea and walnut
Walnut has many benefits for the skins. It exfoliates the skin. Make a paste of grounded walnut, chickpea flour and milk. Apply it evenly over your face and wash it after 15 minutes. Enjoy the smooth healthy skin afterwards.
- Chickpea and grapes
Grapes are full of antioxidants and vitamin C. Grapes helps in attaining smooth and youthful skin. Blend 3-4 teaspoon of chickpea flour and handful of grapes. Apply it regularly to get better results.
- Chickpea and okra
Boil okra to make it soft, and then blend it with chickpea flour. Keep it over the face for 10 minutes. It undoes the damage, removes tan and pigmentation.
- Chickpea and banana
Mixture of chickpea flour and smashed banana helps in moisturizing dry skin. It hydrates the skin and moisturizes it.
Always remember, before applying face pack; always wash your face with gentle face wash. After application of face pack, don’t let it dry completely as it will develop fine lines over face. Keep taking steam in intervals so that face pack remains moist.
