7 Hair Masks for Healthy Hair


Hair is most important part of our body. Be it anyone a male or a female hair plays a very vital role in enhancing their looks and style. Hair does contribute to the glamour and style statements of a person to a fair share. Understanding the importance of healthy hair, today we have brought for you 7 hair masks for healthy hair.

1>    Oats Hair Mask

Oats are very healthy and have great benefits for hair. This hair mask can give you soft, silky and healthy hair on regular use. It is easy to make and easy to wash Oats hair mask.

Ingredients Required:

1 Table spoon Oats

1 Teaspoon Almond Oil

1 Table spoon Milk

Mix oats, milk and almond oil in one bowl and make a thick consistent paste of it. Take enough quantities of all ingredients in equal parts to cover your hair. Apply this paste on your hair and let it stay for 20 minutes and then rinse it with gentle shampoo and water.


2>    Banana, Honey and Almond Hair Mask

Dry and Flaky hair scalp needs some help. You can cure this condition with the help of Banana, Honey and Almond Hair mask. It would soothe your scalp and give you relief from flaky hair scalp.

Ingredients Required:

½ Ripe Banana

2 tablespoon honey

Few drops of Almond Oil

Mash banana and add honey and almond oil in it. Apply this hair mask evenly on your hair and let it stay for 20 minutes and then wash our hair with shampoo. It would help you soothe your itchy scalp and give soft and frizz free hair.

3>    Egg and Yogurt Hair Mask

Egg is a natural conditioner for hair and has benefits for hair. It could give instant soft and silky hair after application. On regular application, this hair mask would surely help you get healthy hair on a long term.

Ingredients Required:

1 Egg

¼ cup Plain Yogurt

Beat egg into a paste and mix Yogurt well into it. As the paste is ready apply on hair from scalp to ends and let the mask sit for 1 hour. You can use a shower cap to cover hair if required. For better results this hair mask should be rinsed with cold water. But, if you feel requirement then you can wash it with warm water too.

4>    Coconut Oil Hair Mask

Coconut oil hair mask can nourish damaged hair, and it is a good mixture for keeping hair healthy on a long term.

Ingredients Required:

Coconut Oil

Olive Oil

Take 2 parts of coconut oil and 1 part of olive oil in a bowl and mix it. Apply it on your hair and scalp and let this hair mask stay on your hair for minimum 1 hour. You can leave it for longer if possible. It would help to recover the damage better. You can wash your hair with regular shampoo but select milder ones.


5>    Avocado Hair Mask

Avocados are good and healthy supplement for the body. They are very nutritive and thus are recommended for good health. But, it is not known well that Avocados are great for hair too. They are rich in vitamins that keep hair healthy and soft.

Ingredients Required:

1 Ripe Avocado

1 Table Spoon Organic Honey

Cut Avocado in halves and get a scoop of flesh from ripened Avocado. Take the required quantity depending on your hair length. Add honey to it and smash well and mix. Apply this mixture on your hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. You can then rise it off with water and if required you can use mild shampoo to wash.

6>    Olive Oil and Egg Hair Mask

Damaged hair needs a lot more care than any other. There is need for extra nourishing ingredients to deal with these type hairs. Olive Oil and Egg would help you out with this nourishment for hair for damaged hair.

Ingredients Required:

3 Table Spoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 Eggs

Take two eggs and beat them well into a consistent paste now add 3 table spoon of extra virgin olive oil in it. Mix both of them well and apply this on your hair from scalp to end. Make sure you cover all your hair with paste for better results. Let the mixture stay for 30 minutes. You can then rinse it off with water or mild shampoo if required.

7> Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon hair Mask

It becomes difficult many times to deal with oily scalp. You can try this mask for oily scalp in summers or whenever there arises a need for it. This hair mask is also good for curing dandruff.

Ingredients Required:

¼ cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Lemon

Mix ¼ cup of Apple cider vinegar with grated peel of entire lemon. Let this on your scalp for 15 minutes and wash your hair with mild shampoo or water as required. When you are using this mask it is very much necessary that you rinse it off after 15 minutes as long application of lemon on hair would make your hair too dry.
