These days I am really attracted to herbal products. I’m scared of the huge ingredient list in the shampoos which has harmful chemicals like parabes , SLS and many more . I’ve been reading many reviews on this herbal brand “khadi “ This is my first product from khadi. As soon as I spotted this , I had to buy this due to tulsi content. I have never used tulsi for my hair and was excited to use this. I have medium to long hair with oily scalp and dry ends. So this particular conditioning shampoo seemed pretty promising.

My take on the product :
The packaging is a bit boring with plastic see through bottle and white labels. Bu that doesn’t really matter for me, if the effect is good. It has a flip top cap in black plastic, it helps in easy disbursal of the product. The cap is very sturdy, leakproof. The liquid is orange colored and has a jelly kind of consistency. Smell is not strong and not pleasing too, it lingers on my hair for hours after my shower. But I can tell you, that it has no added scents , only herbal smell.
First time , when I used this shampoo on my oiled hair , I took moderate amount of shampoo and it was not at all enough , I realized my hair was still oiled. Then I took tons of this shampoo and could finally get rid of the oil from my hair. After all these, almost half of the bottle was over. The bottle comes only for some 6 washes for medium to long hair. But after my hair got completely dried up I could feel a difference. It made my hair soft and shiny.
It lathered so well , that I was actually surprised if it was a SLS free shampoo. Complete ingredients are missing ,only the key ingredients are listed. Unless ,you follow up with a conditioner , it is not that conditioning . But yes , my hair has become more soft and manageable after using it. Though ,It did not help in reducing my hair fall . I ended up loosing many strands as always L
