essentials to carry in your bag

A girls’ bag is her best friend. You never leave home without it; you take your bag everywhere you go because it carries all those things you might need during the day. A handbag varies in size, from a small clutch to an over sized tote bag; it also depends on your personal needs. Life is full of surprises, and you need to be prepared for all such moments. Hence, you need to treat your handbag as a toolkit. And a toolkit is not a toolkit without the right tools.

So, don’t get caught up in a sticky situation, and make sure to have all the essentials in your bag-

Cash! Even though we live in a time where everything works on technology and credit cards, you must always carry some cash with you in case you wind up someplace where they don’t accept cards!

A hair tie is a must have, in case the weather gets windy or your hair is bothering you while you try and concentrate on work, just throw your hair into a top knot!

Sanitary pads. If your cycle is irregular or your flow is heavy, you must always carry extra sanitary pads. You could even help women in need.

A Small Vanity Kit- It’s always good to carry a small pouch with a moisturizer, a small hairbrush, few clips & pins, lipstick, tissues, deo etc in it.

Phone charger because our generation is always on the phone and you don’t want to worry your parents just because they can’t reach you.

Planner! A work planner is so important to keep a track of the meetings you need to get to or any deadlines you need to meet. Don’t forget to carry a pen along with it, or else you won’t be able to make notes on the go.

Lip Balm, even if you don’t have dry, chapped lips. You must always carry a lip balm or your signature lipstick in case you have a sudden meeting or have to go out with your friends at night.

Hand sanitizer. If you want to stay healthy and keep diseases at bay you must keep your hands clean. You should also sanitize your phone screen from time to time. As many studies show, that your phone screen is dirtier than your toilet!

Sunnies. India is a country where the sun is very strong during the summer months. Hence, protect your eyes from the harsh rays of the sun with the trendiest pair of sunglasses.

Business cards, because you never know who you will bump into when!

If you use public transport to commute to and fro from work, then you must carry your I-pod or a book to keep yourself entertained.

Never leave the house without a travel size perfume bottle in your bag. You don’t want to end up having body odour, do you?

Keep your make-up in check with a travel sized mirror!

Keep freshening up your face with a long lasting c ompact powder in between meetings!

Blotting sheets to the rescue! If you have oily skin, then blotting sheets are your best friend, they soak up the oil on your face and make you look fresh again!

Mints! Mints over chewing gum! They are more chic!
