Cleansing , toning & moisturising . Popularly know as CTM routine. Many beauties marked this as their skin care routine for getting healthy looking skin.
• Cleansing not only removes makeup , but also removes all dirt and pollution that your skin picks up through out the day. There are many cleansers available in the market. Choose the one which suits your skin type.
• Toning is the step which many people doesn’t know about. Using a toner restores the skin’s pH balance and also shrinks the pores. There are many kind of toners available .Rose water is an excellent toner.
• Moisturising is the next important step . Donot skip this step , no matter what your skin type is. They hydrate your skin and improves your texture. Oily skin people also need moisturisers , they can go for water based ones .As Dry skin needs heavy hydration , they can go for oil based moisturisers.
Moisturising before going to bed is a must because , your skin rejuvenates itself during the night when you sleep

Exfoliating is the removal of dead cells from skin .It makes your skin soft and supple . There are many scrubs available in the market , or you may use a home-made one. Exfoliating is needed for your body also. You can use a loofah or exfoliating gloves .
Sun exposure can damage our skin. Sunscreen lotions help protect against sunburns and tanning. Use a sunscreen with both UVA and UVB protection with an SPF of 30 even in winters. Apply it 30 minutes before you go outside. Reapply it every two to three hours. For oily skin , you can opt for oil free formula. Apply a good moisturiser followed by a sunscreen. Or you can change the order depending upon the consistency.
Steaming is a very efficient method to get soft and glowing skin.You just need a bowl with some hot water and a towel. Boil water in a bowl (you can add a pinch of turmeric or neem leaves if you have pimples ) . Drape a towel over your head , it will avoid steam from escaping It opens up the skin pores , removes impurities , controls breakouts , improves your blood circulation.
Out of all the fruits , Papaya is my favourite for skin care. It does wonders for your skin. It cleanses , removes the dead skin cells , polishes your skin and gives a glowing complextion instantly. The nutrient papayan in it promotes skin renewal. You can rub a small piece of papaya directly onto your face or you can dip it in honey and give a gentle massage. You can do this twice a week and see the results .
