My Experience :
Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Make-up Remover comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a blue cap . The packaging is very attractive and cute. It has a pump dispenser . The dispenser worked well in the starting , but later it got damaged . After the first pump it don’t work . So I remove the whole screw cap and use which becomes very inconvenient for me. As long as the pump dispenser worked , it dispensed right amount of product without any wastages . But after that I ended up using more than required because of it’s wide opening . Anyway the outer blue cap fits well , and can be carried around if you get a defective free dispenser.
Being a dual-phased liquid, it has two layers , oil and water . So always shake it well before usage so that both the liquids mix up well and give effective results. It has a mild refreshing smell I usually spray liquid on a cotton pad , for making it wet it has to be pumped for fair number of times . It is not as effective as maybelline in removing makeup .(Read Maybelline eye & Lip makeup remover review HERE ) It doesn’t remove all my eye makeup in one go. Removing eyeliner was not a problem, but it doesn’t take off mascara . Even after rubbing many times , I end up burning my eyes . It is not effective in removing kajal/kohl from waterline as well. It doesn’t remove completely , it always leaves a dark residue behind .
It doesn’t give a squeaky clean look. Whenever I use this , my eye lids shed , I’m not sure it is because of the makeup remover or if it because of the eye makeup products I use . After usage , it leaves a greasy look on my eyes , so I have to wash my eyes with water or even with a face wash if needed. It can also be used on lips . It removes any light colored lipstick well , but for darker shades it leaves the tint behind , so you should rub for many times to get rid of it. And doing this makes lips a bit dry . So it can be best used for light eye makeup removal and light colored lipsticks removal . For heavy makeup , maybelline is a very good option. I tried using it over my face , it removes light facial makeup well but you would need to follow with face wash .
